What to expect from this 6 week workshop?
WEEK 1- Come for the FREE trial class and see if you child loves it!
WEEK 2,3,4 & 5 - Children will learn about the basics of mixed media art from a professional artist(10+ yrs. experience) in artist’s bright and airy studio . They will also be adept with techniques and tools of 3 great artists from history .Each week they will
make their own rendition of the artworks on gallery style canvases and panels.
WEEK 6- Group ART SHOW. Children experience the environment of a gallery opening
event and parents are invited to come see their child present their masterpieces.
Small class of 6-8 kids per batch, guaranteeing personal attention and interaction so kids can truly express their creativity

Why study art history?
Kids who study art history feel a connection to the past. This understanding of history helps them feel more connected to their place in the present, and better able to envision where they want to go in the future.
Art history inspires curiosity. Why did an artist choose a particular style, and what impact did his/her work have on society. Such discussions help children exchange ideas and opinions and strengthen their own sense of self.
Studying and creating art naturally brings out the value of diversity in children.
It gives children a different perspective of other cultures' history, stories, values, and traditions.
